Floral, grapefruit, lemon and tangerine on the nose. It pours a deep amber color with a slight beige head. Medium bodied, it finished very clean which built anticipation for every sip of this lovely brew high. On the palate there were sweet crystal malts, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime slight pineapple and green apple. Those IBUs were balanced nicely and this was a fantastic IPA.

A: Great lacing over a dark, copper body.

S- Starts with citrus zest, grassy hop aroma with toasted caramel malt. OK aroma.

T/F: Follows smell, and very smooth with a creamy finish. Juicy, zesty hops, happy, bright beer. Warm Finish.
O: Paired well with brauts at Gustavs at PDX.

This brew pours a mostly opaque copper color with reddish highlights. A thick three-finger head, some of which remains on top until the end and heavy lacing.

The smell is orange, grapefruit, lemon and pine with a bready and caramel malt backbone.

The taste follows the nose; the pine dominates but all of the hop flavors mentioned in the smell are there in the taste. The bready/caramel malt backbone is also consistent throughout.

Wow, the only thing stopping me from giving this a 5 is that it is hard to say anything is perfect, especially since IPA's vary so much but this about as close to perfect an IPA that I have had; try it!
