A-pours very oily black with a nice thick tan head that quickly fades to nothing. fair lacing
S-very dark roasted coffee. embarrassing to say, but possibly a hint of bacon in there. medium strength. pretty run of the mill so far.
T-definitely a serious stout. it hits the tongue with a very smooth taste of very dark roasted coffee along with some chocolate. its a very rich and oily taste that sticks to the tongue in a great way. it transitions in to a good matching after-taste in which you can taste the bourbon and oak. i'll be honest, there's a good mix of big flavors here that seem to change order with every sip you take.
M-very thick and heavy. there's a good medium carbonation with a very crisp finish
O-what should be sips will turn in to quaffs with this one. this is a seriously complex stout. it also drinks very easily for the ABV. i wouldn't mind having a full stock of this. craving will ensue i'm sure.
