22 oz. bottle into my Duvel tulip.
A-Pours out a transparent orange/amber body that sat beneath 2 full fingers of moderately dense, bone white foam.Average retention but nice wide ribbons of lacing were left on the glass.
S-This beer smells super fresh and clean.Juicy citric hops, stonefruit, some floral hops reminiscent of honeysuckle or jasmine, pine and light caramel.Really inviting.
T-Super fresh here as well.Flavors of baked peach, musky mango, creamsicle, fresh flowers, toffee, pine and spearmint were all present.
M-Strangely but pleasantly creamy with a slick oiliness and probably the smoothest and most seamless hop bitterness that I've experienced in a beer.
O-This is my second Deschutes offering after Mirror Pond and I was more than impressed by this one

Bottle purchased at Bob's Bar in Columbus, OH.
This was unknowingly purchased a month past its best by date (3/13/14) so take this review with a grain of salt, and know that this beer does not hold up well with time.
Pours a dark peach color, with a half inch head, and a little bit of lacing down the glass.
Smells include honey, bitter grapefruit, and alcohol.
The hop flavor has faded a lot here, replaced by the typical honey-ish sweetness. The diminished hop flavors have also allowed the alcohol burn to be more present. What hop character is left is of the bitter grapefuit variety. Possibly some pine in there.
Medium bodied, sweet and sticky mouthfeel, low carbonation.
Would like to try this again much fresher.
