Live tasting, bottle date says best before 4/25/12, into my other new Duvel tulip :D

Appearance; pours a beautiful bright gold color, with 3 fingers of fine bubbles making a thick straw colored head. Retention is minimal, with a smattering of light foam covering the top. Lacing is decent, with thin spiderwebs coating a fair portion of my glass.

Smell; jumped out of the bottle when I popped the cap, definitely a citrus forward ipa, orange, tangerine and pineapple are the standouts for me, I smell some faint bready biscuit kinda action here as well...

Taste; opens right up with orange, tangerine, pineapple and other trace citrus fruits... Slight notes of caramel and biscuit sneak in before the whole thing is concluded with some resinous bitterness.

Mouthfeel; great carbonation on this one, lively on the tongue, with a velvety texture, definitely feels thicker in the mouth when held there with only a slight bubble from the carbonation.

Overall; a rock solid ipa, with a good amount of complexity, I feel like this is one that anyone can enjoy and as such I recommend it to everyone!!

from the freshness dated bomber "best by 07/14"
Into a Sam Smiths perfect pint glass results in a slightly hazy golden body capped by a 1" head that has longevity and leaves delicate lacing and rings of foam as the level drops, nice!
Aroma is not subdued or powerful, kind of in the middle, I get weed, fresh cut grass, grapefruit rind, pine sap, very appealing.
Taste starts with some tropical fruit but quickly morphs into typical hop bitterness, there is a fine cracker bread sweetness that attempts a show, but it ends with bitter hops and a hint of blood orange.
Carbonation is subdued, slightly creamy
Overall this is another stellar brew by a brewery that does it right. Bravo!

A - Pours a hazy amber with a two-finger foamy white head. Light sticky lacing.

S - Light amount of tropical fruits - mango & pineapple.

T - Starts out with tropical fruits and a nice caramel malt sweetness. The finish has an earthy lingering hop bitterness. There is also a light pepper bite in the finish.

M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Smooth drinking with a crisp bite.

O - Tasty DIPA. Glad I was able to try this. Recommended.
