22 ounce bottle purchased from Beverage Warehouse in Marina del Rey for about five dollars, poured into a Stone pint glass, also drank last night with my dad and buddy, color is deeper copper color, ¾ inch foamy slightly off white head, some lacing, aroma has pineapple, a few different hop scents, toasted malts, grass, grapefruit, and mild sweetness, starts off with a slick hop flavor, toasted malts and mild citrus in the middle, more hops in the finish with grapefruit and mellow pine, very balanced IPA and quite drinkable at seven percent, smooth most of the way through without being overly bitter or malty, seven percent is hidden well, balanced, toasted, and dry mouthfeel, thin to medium bodied, strong level of carbonation, taste lingers, would drink again, recommended

A: deep red hue, slightly red (although this is a dark bar), very thin head
S: fruity and bitter, freshly cut wood (elm?)
T: Immediate bitter bite, nodes of grapefruit, lemon-peel, and woody. The last sips were better than the first (maybe due to warming)
M: Tingly and dry (gingerale mouthfeel without carbonation level) Flavor sticks to the mouth longer than most.
O: Drinkability- decent. It is comparable to Surly furious with water-downed citrus. Head dissolves very quickly. Aftertaste is good at first, but stayed into the next lager. Not bad- would drink again, but not rave worthy.
