Best after 10/17/10, batch 1623 L. Poured into a Stone tulip.
Pours a clear black with faint highlights of ruby where the sun can just peek in. Moderate amount of coffee latte head and a nice sheeting lace. Aroma is roasted, covered with a vanilla sweetness. Booze is apparent. A slight woodiness is apparent as well. Taste is of strong coffee followed by sweetness that blends into a roasted finish. A full but drying mouthifeel that I attribute to the alcohol.
Could do with a bit more age I believe. Too bad that was my only bottle.

A: Pours black with a one finger creamy tan head. Sheets of lace with each sip.
S: Big and roasty with tons of dark chocolate, powdery cocoa and some faint barrel. Barrel notes emerge more as it warms.
T: Tons of velvety dark chocolate, dark berry notes and dark roasted malt. Some syrupy espresso as well. Finishes with a bare touch of char. Smooth as hell. Really well done.
