Poured from a bottle into a Bell's tulip. The pour is very clear, beautiful amber in color, and sports about a finger of eggshell-colored foam with good retention. The aroma is nice and hoppy with notes of grapefruit, lemon, herbs, cedar, and fresh flowers.
The beer has a medium body, a slick feel, and a nicely balanced dry, hoppy flavor. There is substantial malt to stand up to the hops, which are not over-done at all. Up front there is a cedary, marmalade-like sweetness which gives way to grapefruit, lavender, and lemon as the hops attack. There is a hint of sweetness on the finish and a lingering resiny flavor.
This is an old-school, well-crafted pale ale. Terrific balance, lots of flavor, and it doesn't ruin your palate. A good introductory beer to craft newbies.

Had it on nitro, really tasty and easy drinking. Felt more like a amber/red to me than a PA but that was probably the nitro smoothing it out.
Good, tasty beer all around. Was through a tasting event and this was probably my favorite beer someone could have everyday.
