A sweet/malty mouthfeel with a subtle rush of hops that attacks the nose more than it does the tongue.
Pours an amber red with a hue of orange. Mild head, good lacing.
The nose and the taste are well balanced between the malts and the hops.
There goal was to make a well balanced hop adventure, and it seems they did that pretty well, being that the malt bill shines through pretty powerfully here.
A good medium to heavy creamy mouthfeel. A little more malty than I would prefer, but I am glad to see brewers take on more complex malt bills with their hoppier beers.
I highly recommend... a good accompaniment to any chicken/beef dish... even some spicy ones.
