A: Pours a clear golden amber with a thin, creamy whitish head.
S: Subtle aromas of grass, herbs, lemon, lime, caramel, cream, and biscuits are present on the nose.
T: Cream, caramel, and toffee sweetness are present up front and are joined by cracker and biscuit flavors shortly thereafter. The hops kick in around mid-palate, delivering gentle, nuanced notes of lemon, lime, bitter orange, herbs, and grass. The finish is balanced and mellow with notes of lemon, lime, herbs, caramel, cream, and biscuits most apparent.
M: What an outstanding texture in the mouth! This ale is medium-bodied, silky, and smooth. Carbonation manages to straddle a fine line between firm and spritzy. This pale ale is one of the most drinkable examples of the style I have run across in quite awhile.
O: I really feel like Deschutes has done an excellent job presenting well integrated malt and hop flavors in this beer. Perfectly balanced, quite flavorful, and immediately approachable this, in my book, is exactly what an APA should be.

Had it on nitro, really tasty and easy drinking. Felt more like a amber/red to me than a PA but that was probably the nitro smoothing it out.
Good, tasty beer all around. Was through a tasting event and this was probably my favorite beer someone could have everyday.
