A- dark bronze color. About 1/2 inch of creamy white head. Good looking beer.
S- piney hops dominate the nose. Some fruitiness and light malt
T- this beer is well balanced. Starts off with some tropical fruits, then the hops and malt come in and take over. Piney, resiny, and some citrus hops. Finishes with pleasant bitterness on the tongue making you want more.
O- delicious and great drinkability. I drank this too fast! Got this in a create your own 6 pack to try it out. Definitely getting a 6 of it next time.

Appearance: Nice copper color with heavy foam, plenty of lacing and carbonation.

Smell: Subtle citrus, pine, and malts.

Taste: Strong malts up front, with a nice subtle hop finish. Hints of honey, pine, caramel.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied but very rich and creamy. Only a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste.

The Verdict: Delicious. Complex, well balanced, and tasty, and the mouthfeel is nearly perfect. More, please.

Serving Type - Bottle

Appearance - Dark copper tan/brown, nice 1 inch white foamy head with nice lacing a minor unfiltered floaters.

Smell - Sweet tropical fruits, pale malts, orange, grapefruit, mango, sweet yeasts, a little malt. Smells light and pleasant.

Taste - Starts off with a tropical fruit hop note mixed with pale malts. Very smooth and natural tasting, not too sweet, or bitter at all. Plenty of mango, tangerine and orange in each sip that works well with the pale ale malts. A little yeasty sugar flavor adds a little complex sweet kick near the finish.

Mouthfeel - Nice sweet and smooth tropical hops coat the tongue. Palate picks up some pale malts, yeasts and remaining hops. Aftertaste is tropical fruity, pale ale malty and smooth.

Overall - This is a killer beer. Light, smooth, flavorful and soooo easy to drink. Perfect balance of sweet and bitter. You can get your hop fix with this, and not get palate wrecked at all. World class, and unique, nothing else ive had quite tastes like this one.

Pours a clear red golden. Nice head/lacing.

Smell has citric hops, a little nuttiness, some yeast. Bit toasty.

Taste is a nice melding of citric hops and a decent malty amber body.

Decent hop presence in the backend, and potent finishing bitterness. Hops are more potent in the feel and taste than in aromatics.

This is subtler than those big aggressive amber ales- it's got a decent malt body and has more subtle citric hops (although don't get me wrong, it's quite hoppy). But it's big bodied. I'd place it close to Arrogant Bastard and the American Strong Ale genre.
