Bomber poured into my Stone IRS tulip. Best by 11-25-11.

A- Pours a dark black with brown around the edges when held to the light. An attractive, creamy, tan colored 2 finger head pops up and slowly settles down into a very thin film on top of the beer. Leaves lacing all down the glass.

S- Wicked fresh hops. Bright citrus and floral notes that blend in with a dark roastiness from the specialty malts. Plenty of fresh bread aroma, more hops, pine, grapefruits.

T- Similar to the nose. Surprisingly, its not sweet on the tongue at all. Bitter hops dominate the front of the palate. On the back end, the bitterness of the hops blend in with the roasty coffee flavors from the black malts.

M- Thin, and pretty dry. Average carbonation. I like it.

O- Deschutes did it better than Stone. I could enjoy a few of these without being needlessly shitfaced.
