A - Clear bronze color with a large, foamy, light, billowy, white head. Great retention with the head sticking around for a while and then settling into a nice layer of lace.
S - More Mosaic than Citra for the hop aroma, although it is close. Mango, grapefruit, stone fruit, hints of gooseberry, overall a juicy aroma. Fair amount of dank aroma along with a touch of pine and herbal notes. Solid caramel and bready malt in the back providing some sweetness.
T - A sweet/tart fruit taste jumps out right away. Plenty of stone and tropical fruit along with grapefruit/tangerine/sweet citrus. Some dank flavors in the back throughout the sip. Solid malt bill but it taste pretty clean. Hops are the center focus. Nice slightly tart/ripe fruit flavor on the finish with a touch of bitterness. Rind flavors at the very end.
M - Light to medium body. Average carbonation. Prickly and crisp feel.
D - Very balanced IPA. Hops are the star but they don't overwhelm. Interesting mix of flavors that keep me wanting more. Tasty and easy to drink.
Notes: I really enjoyed this beer. Two great hop varieties that provide some great and interesting combinations of flavors. Fruity, dank, slightly tart and bitter all mix to make an intriguing beer. Not the best or boldest on flavors, but very solid and worth a shot.
