Squeezed into a snifter.
The white head puffs to a half-inch but does not retain very well, dying to a ring, with an island of soapy foam on the cap. The body has a deeper copper-amber hue with semi-transparency.
Aromas strike immediately as strawberry and blueberries, with a buried earthiness. It also has some chives hanging out in there. Stellar nose!
The palate presents flavors that err more on the earthy side. The berries are much more subdued and come across mid-palate with a noticeable bread malt flavor. The finish is a little peppery and sweet with resin and that distinct berry-ness again.
The beer has a lighter-medium body and a nice creamy feel. This is not very drying, but the finish does linger.
The berry scents and flavors balance very well with the herbal-earthy quality that is present. There could be even more dank balance on the nose, and in the flavor profile. This is quite the delightful, sweeter IPA.

355ml bottle poured into tulip 28/7/14
A clear dark amber with just a couple visible bubbles but a well sustained thumbs width of foam leaves 6 pencil thin rings before falling, looks sexy
S grapefruit, melon, tangerine, bruised mango, has a fruit candy thing going for it, gummy bears? floral notes, some spruce and caramel
T juicy, lots of caramel, some lime rind, still has a candy thing going for it, balanced for a West Coast IPA
M medium bodied, creams up just stopping short of foam, just a little grit, gummy bears and citrus rind on the finish
O solid IPA, not exactly a palate wrecker like I was expecting but an easy drinking IPA with a solid malt backbone keeping the hops in check
I'll have no problems with the 5 bottles I have left in the fridge but at over 20$ a 6er it might be tough buying another 6 with better IPA's on the same shelf for less money.
