Only bottle a single since I wasn't sure about pulling the trigger on a sixer. My mistake.
Pours a really nice amber color with a bog dosing of off-white foamy head with major lacing.
The citra and mosaic hops really shine through on the aroma as well as pine, grass, lemon and sour grapes.
The taste is similar to the aroma. The mosaic hops are the showstopper here with some faint citra splash as well. Nice bite to each sip. Lemon/grapefruit aftertaste. More lemon on the buds as I yearn for more. Lime is also on the mind and buds. An aggressive IPA that I am digging more and more with each sip.
Nicely carbonated. Chewy.
Overall this was an awesome session. Almost like the name of the beer, this beer seemed way fresh and what a West Coast IPA can (and should) be. In your face hops and bitterness but a good dose of fruit to round it out. Really good stuff that I will definitely be consuming more of.

355ml bottle poured into tulip 28/7/14
A clear dark amber with just a couple visible bubbles but a well sustained thumbs width of foam leaves 6 pencil thin rings before falling, looks sexy
S grapefruit, melon, tangerine, bruised mango, has a fruit candy thing going for it, gummy bears? floral notes, some spruce and caramel
T juicy, lots of caramel, some lime rind, still has a candy thing going for it, balanced for a West Coast IPA
M medium bodied, creams up just stopping short of foam, just a little grit, gummy bears and citrus rind on the finish
O solid IPA, not exactly a palate wrecker like I was expecting but an easy drinking IPA with a solid malt backbone keeping the hops in check
I'll have no problems with the 5 bottles I have left in the fridge but at over 20$ a 6er it might be tough buying another 6 with better IPA's on the same shelf for less money.
