This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of Citra and Mosaic hops. Don't worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

Poured on draft in Tucson. Pours a very nice amber color. Thin white head leading to thin, sticky lacing. Smells like your average IPA, just with a bit more citrus. Taste is very smooth citrus with some lingering hop oils. Very juicy and smooth IPA. Mouthfeel is good with good carbonation. Awesome IPA from a good brewery. I'll definitely look for this in the future.

Pours a clear deep amber with a thin creamy head. The has minimal retention but still leaves some small sticky lacing. The aroma is lighter but with some nice tropical fruits and the taste is much the same. The body is lighter and a little thin with some bitter tingle on the finish.

Tied it on draft at the Bend brewpub. Okay, I'll admit I don't like IPAs. But I do respect the quality that Deschutes offers across their entire product line. This a very nice beer and not one that tries to push the hops envelope. It is definitely worth a try and it will even impress hop skeptics like me.

Pours a dark amber color, slightly fruity smell, slight pine taste, light bitter after taste, smooth, overall a great beer. I was expecting a really bitter IPA, which I don't care for, so this one surprised me at how smooth it was. The only thing I would change is if it was priced the same as all other Deschutes beer so that I can drink it more often.

Pours a clear copper/orange color with a white head. Orange, grapefruit and pine lead the nose with a malty sweetness in the background. Taste is huge citrus with more mandarin orange than grapefruit to me. A pleasing sweetness and a great bitter pine ending round it all out. This is a great fruity IPA. Really great.

12 oz poured into pint glass: enjoyed 11/14/15

Look: Thick and creamy off white head that sits nicely for a while. Lacing has a lot of tiny bubbles that hug the glass. The amber color is clear and light.

Smell: Nose is great, I get citrus right off the bat.

Taste: This is a super refreshing, juicy IPA. It leaves my tongue wide awake and the grapefruit notes are just right, not overpowering. I am often left wanting more from some IPA's, but this one delivers.

Feel: Great mouthfeel. It's slightly creamy and leaves a linger of lovely bright hops.

This ones a keeper, I'll be picking up again.

Delicious IPA. Having been underwhelmed by some of Deschutes other offerings, I was reluctant to try this. Good look, Amber color with a solid head. Smells of heavenly tropical fruit. Taste follows but not quite as intense. Mouthfeel is good, thick enough and not overly carbonated. Will drink again, definitely.

Look: Pours an amber color with some strong carbonation and an off white head

Smell: the smell is predominantly mosaic hop scents: onion, some juicy tropical fruits and some cat as well

Taste: Slight onion, strong citrusy orange and a slight sweet taste. There's a mild bitter finish as well

Feel: Pretty well carbonated with a lighter to medium body. The finish is dry and keeps me sipping for more

Overall: I'm happy with this beer and will pick up more in the future. I like my beers a bit thicker and cloudier than this (New England styled IPA's come to mind) but this is still awesome.

On tap at Deschutes.
Part of their Fresh Wet Hop series.

L : Copper-amber colored, with 100% opacity. Milky head.

S : Onion and pine out front, with cracker and malt.

T : Nice cracker and malt, with big juicy orange, piney edges.

F : Creamy, mild carbonation, but the carbonation buzzes nicely. Semi-dry finish.

O : A nice juicy, fresh IPA. I'd have it again.

From the look of this be, just by the bottle, it looked very simple. But once I cracked open this IPA, almost instantly my opinion about this beer changed. The smell of piney hoppiness always brings joy to my taste buds. Great taste and color. Definitely one of my go to's. Pretty up to Par with some of the best IPAs I've had 8.5/10

Let's not over do it. A super fresh, solid bright IPA.
Get's better 2nd time around

A: Pours an energrtic copper body with 1 finger of bright cream head. Good lacing & head retention.

S: Caribbean. Grapefruit, limes & pine.

T: Follows smell and abundant. Grapefruit, pine, leafy hops up front. Bitter dryness as this warms, with orange marmalade and leafy hops as it warms. Finishes dry with citrus, marmalade sweetness & lots of pine.

F: Medium bodied, well balanced. Not profound.

Drinks easy, juicy. Must try.

12 ounce bottle served in a pint glass.

Pours a slightly opaque, caramel color with a frothy , 2 finger white head and lots of lacing.

Smells of hops... and lots of them.

Taste of citrus and a small bite at the end.

Very well done beer.

T: Well balanced. Starts with sweet juicy fruits and ends with a mildly bitter malt burst. Fruits include citrus, peach, and lychee.

F: Light bodied, creamy, and smooth.

O: My first review of an American IPA. I liked it a lot.

pours orange amber with a thick off white head that left a lot of lacing on the glass
smell initially not much other than hoppy but then as it warmed increasingly piney citrusy flowery
taste citrus fruity piney sweet
feel smooth crisp and carbonated
overall great beer will drink again!

Had this for the first time this year on draught and have been looking for a sixer of it ever since - I think it's a bit off-season at this point, but I am enjoying the hell out of this six pack. Pours a super-cloudy amber with lots of floating sediment. The head is soapy and dense; it builds and hangs around a while, but not like a beer where you're like, "OK, OK, enough suds already." The nose is just amazing, super-citrusy with and tropical fruit; blood orange, mango and pineapple. Flavor is excellent. Hoppy-bitters but well-balanced by the sweet tropical and citrus flavors. Honestly, how the hell did they make this beer so good?

Poured into a snifter. A surprisingly brown/amber color for the style, I feel like most other harvest-styled beer tends to have a lighter tone. Still a beautiful appearance, with a modest but bubbly head. Quite a bit of small bubbles rising. All in all, a pleasant appearance.

Smells of citrus, malt and grass. Definitely some fall/herbal spices there as well. A delightful smell.

A hefty and relatively stingy hop-flavor dominates this beer. The carbonation is quite present, perhaps overly so. Citrus and grapefruit make an appearance in the aftertaste. But it is the immediate hopiness and carbonation that run the show here.

This is definitely not my favorite take on the style, but for what it is it's rock solid.

Bought as a six-pack for $11.

On a completely unrelated note, I find it amusing that my computer wants to auto-correct hopiness to holiness. That's what I call a Freudian autocorrect.

Had a pint poured from the tap. Color is a deep amber with hints or orange and pours with a 1 inch frothy head that leaves a good level of lacing on the glass.
Smell is fantastic......Floral from the blend of Citra and mosaic hops......and out of a pint glass was great delivery to get the smell to enhance the taste.

Enjoyed with a holsteins burger and fries.....which was a perfect pairing

Pours golden orange. Smells of citrus, hops, and pine. Tastes as it smells, the hops aren't overpowering and it has a great balance. Overall very good IPA.

Amber body with good carbonation, white head and a ring of lace. Aromas of citrus and a hint of pine. Lots of juicy grapefruit on the palate with orange rind and, again, a hint of pine. Solid bitterness. Light malt throughout, which adds good balance to the whole production. Coarsely carbonated, possibly too much.
As delicious as the name sounds. This is a citrus fruit-forward beer that adds a showing of pine and malt balance to make a well composed but hop-dominated IPA.

A: Crystal clear amber color with tons of little yeast chunks floating around, which really detracts from the beer. I'm going to drink the other 5 from the bottle so I don't see it.

S: Smells like a fruity pale ale. Aroma is a little weak too.

T: Tastes pretty good. First thought to me is it tastes just like my rye pale india lager made with citra and simcoe except with more yeast character. Mine is better though.

M: Under carbonated, although what is there is silky smooth. Love-hate relationship with creamy texture from bottle conditioned beers and their unsightliness. The finish is a little syrupy too. I'd guess it's about 1.020.

O: It's good. I like my IPAs a little more carbonated and a little more attenuated so it's not a huge winner for me. I'd drink it again but probably wouldn't seek it out in a sea of other IPA options.

Pours a reddish amber into my Shorts pint glass. Aggressive pour yields 1 1/2 finger head with lacing that really coats the glass. Citra and Mosaic hops really come through on this. There's a balanced, yeasty, nuttiness that covers up some of the promised juicy, floral notes. Slight piney, bitterness lingers on the tongue. I keep waiting for the fresh squeezed juiciness promised by the name. I am underwhelmed. Maybe I'm spoiled, after finishing off 2 four packs of Todd the Axeman last week. This is a good IPA, and I'm glad I snagged 2 bottles, but I wouldn't call it great.

just slightly above okay for me yes it's easy to drink and yes it has a nice aroma but is that enough to give it a four? not for me, a four for me means i will be buying it again. even though it has its some charm it's not enough to lure me in again. Why? i don't know but i think that i am starting to think that i am just not a fan of fruity beer and this has a significant amount of fruit, so much so that it can taste like grapefruit juice at times. if i want to drink something fruity i rather drink mango juice and throw some rum in it. the .25 was for easy drinking and good aroma traits.

Pours dark brown orange with rootbeer style head. Carbonation bulbs rising none stop from bottom. Thick foamy lacing covers the glass with every sip. Smell of hops and citrus along with pine. Very light tasting Ipa hoppy and piny.. this would be a good daily drinker in my eyes.
