A- Dark, deep brown, almost black. Tan head, and more than I was expecting.

S- Heaven really- Chocolate, slight coffee, toffee, vanilla.

T- Very smooth chocolate and coffee. Some vanilla and tobaco flavors. I didn't get any booziness at all.

D- More carbonataion than I was expecting. Very drinkable for this ABV.

O- I would describe this as The Abyss' little brother. The flavors were similar, but a bit more subtle.

Had on tap at the Deschutes Brewpub in Bend OR. Comes out a nice dark chocolate brown. Aroma is a wonderful boozy chocolate, and creamy coffee experience. The taste follows with warm cocoa and vanilla notes on the toungue. You also get a nice warmth from the booze, thats not overpowering, just there with each sip as it warms. Another great brew from one of my favorite breweries.
