On tap at Southpaw in SD. Pours a hazy golden with small white head. Bretty aroma with hay, spices, honey, light pine. Flavor follows as a combination of wit, tripel, and IPA. Light spice and bretted wit flavor, some yeasty honey and clove, and a crisp pine hop finish. Light bodied, high carbonation, really crisp. This turned out nicely for a style that to me is mostly meh. Not bad.

Poured into a tulip.
A: Pale yellow and a very cloudy body. Not much carbonation, but a nice bubbly head that leaves some great lacing. Good looking, but nothing special.
S: Pleasant and subtle, and much less hoppy than I'm used to with American IPAs. I like this a lot. Very hearty yeast aroma and beautiful malt sweetness along with hints of citrus. I'm sure this isn't the greatest example, but it's a very well balanced smell.
T: The yeast and funk is a little too overpowering, but other than that, this is a hearty, relaxed and pleasant tasting beer. Malt and citrus sweetness gives this some more pop.
M: I'm looking for a little more from the feel. Probably a little more carbonation. Full-bodied that leaves a dry lingering in the mouth. Doesn't enhance the taste the way I'd like it too, but the feel isn't necessarily out of place.
O: A great, pleasant and relaxed beer, with plenty of hearty and fresh flavors and a wonderful dry feel. It doesn't quite reach a transcending balance, but it has great qualities nonetheless.

12oz bottle bb 12/20/13 – poured into my FW Imperial nonic glass
A: Pours a hazy golden blonde body with a half finger lid of snowy white froth. Some ample retention efforts hug the glass after each sip leaving back a light crusty film of lace.
S: Coriander, lemon peel, and some peppery spice mixes with a light bready malt bill and dash of grassy hop florals. Delicate aromas overall with the Belgian yeast somewhat pronounced.
T: Tastes is a touch grainy with a healthy dose of wheat malt mixed in there add with some golden fruits, lemon peel, and a nicely restrained Belgian yeast spicing of coriander, pepper, and light clove. There is a dash of fruity bubblegum that rounds out the finish as well. A moderate level of mineral like bitterness and no alcohol to report. Smooth crisp action. Very refreshing.
M: Feather light body with a smooth mouth feel form the carb and high level of crisp on the finish that is dry and snappy.
D: Nothing particularly special to write home about however the flavors come together in good harmony. A nicely refreshing warm weather brew.
