on tap from notes:

A -Bright yellow hazed body with a fluffy white head. Nice looking beer with impressive lacing.

S - Musty wheat, bright citrus, lemons, spices, coriander, bright floral notes.

T - Lemon citrus rushes the palate, green peppercorn and spice, mostly coriander, malted wheat background, some grassy bitterness, lemon pith runs strong throughout. Finishes clean with a crisp citrus zest.

M - Medium full body, the wheat creates a creamy body, moderate smooth carbonation.

A very bright and refreshing IPA. Smooth wheat backing with snappy citrus bitterness make for a crisp drink.

Happy to see this on the shelves in Calgary
A - fully hazy straw golden, two fingers of fluffy white head retained very nicely
S - big yeasty aromas of sour citrus and herbs, strong grassy hint, some bubble gum and grain
T - citrus and fresh grass hops, sour fruit and spicy yeast ester flavour is prominent, grainy malt with a mineral/vitamin flavour finish
M - fairly light body with pleasant carbonation, feel is a mix of tart citrus, hop dryness, and a minerally teeth coating finish
O - such a well constructed beer, has big element of both Belgian and IPA styles but melded into what the style should be, stoked that this is available is 6-packs here, this will be become a session regular for me!

After having enjoyed the Collaboration between Deschutes and Boulevard, with this being a close approximation, I'm really looking forward to it.

Hazy blonde, much like a lighter golder version of the Boulevard Wheat we know so well here in K.C. Very little white head.

Lemon, grass, grainy and a near hint of something like turpentine. That makes it uniquely fresh, but also a bit off-putting. To me, it's an odd mix.

Similar to the nose as noted above, coming across with more grain though. I pick up very little of the nice sage notes I got from the Collab - that's unfortunate, as they really brought this beer together.

Lighter on the tongue than an IPA - has a Belgian edge to it. Airiness, even. Crisp, dry, closes with a bit of sharpness and a rather booming echo of hops .

A cheaper and more available version of the Collaboration, but not as fulfilling.

Appearance- Pours a hazy pale nectar with a finger of bubbly white head.

Smell- belgian yeast, coriander, orange peel, wheat,

Taste- Starts with the yeast and orange peel followed by the coriander and wheat. Taste is tangy and tart at the start, then finishes with light bitterness.

Mouthfeel- Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall- An enjoyable Belgian IPA. I like the fact that the flavours are cohesive and don't compete with one another. Definitely would suit for a hot summer day.
