Poured from 22oz bomber before the best after date of June 2012. Poured a dark brown, nearly black color with a nice two or three finger brownish head. Aroma of chocolate, orange, and coffee. Taste was dark chocolate, orange, a bit of coffee, and black licorice. Deschutes has knocked this one out of the park (much like the XX and the XX1--wish they would've gone ahead and bottled the XXII as it was great at GABF '10). I can only imagine what this one will be like next spring. It's awesome fresh; hopefully I can score another couple of bottles so I can drink two or so more now and still have three for the cellar.
