A: Moderate pour into a tulip glass built a bright white head a finger and a half tall made of mostly fine bubbles but also some large ones reminding me of soap. Good retention. The liquid is a pale, but hazy straw color that gets a shade darker in the deeper regions of the glass. As the head fell there was a lot of spider web looking lacing on the edge of the glass.
S: Lemon and orange citrus aroma combined with a bready undertone. Almost reminds me of a hefe.
T: Wow, flavor and aroma are completely different. Mango, ripe strawberry, blueberry and fruit punch flavors on the first sip. Moderate bitterness but the hop flavor takes center stage in the flavor portion. Malt backbone is toasty, bready and almost seems sweet.. but I think it is the perception of the hop flavors that is giving that impression. Slightly vegetale flavor also.
M: Light on the body and a creamy mouth feel. Carbonation is low and there is a sticky mouthfeel from the hop oils.
O: The nose on this beer started to disappoint me but on my first sip I was converted. Not sure what gives it those lemony/orangey aromas but it didn't do the flavor justice.
