22 oz bottle. Pours a two finger nearly white fluffy clingy head over a cloudy light golden liquid. Gorgeous cascading head. Crazy. Smells clean citrus of lemon, pink grapefruit, tangerine, blood orange, and pine. Floral and clean alcohol with mild grassy. Minimal esters.
Tastes quite nice. Hop flavor and clean hop bitter over gentle supporting malt sweet. Hop flavor is lemon, woody dry, very pithy, and pleasingly acidic. Amarillo tastes a bit buttery to me and this has that character. Hop bitter is very clean of grassy cohumulone edge. Clean alcohol sting works with the hop bitter and gentle carbonation sting to counter the sweet of the malt and hop flavors. A very nice beer that comes across as a bit English in hop character. Likely not as resiny 'dank' as current trends in hop character go, but I like this type of hopping in an IPA.
