22 oz. bomber,
A: Pours a very dark ruby brown with a medium off-white head with average retention, some spotty lace.
S: Smoke and soy sauce, a lot of molasses.
T: Smoke at the back end, but overall with a lot of cloying sweet malt. Has its good points, but just doesn't taste very good in the end.
M: Full-bodied, again cloyingly sweet sticking on the tongue for a long time.
O: The 2nd Class of '88 beer to disappoint me. I love Deschutes, but this series is not a winner so far.
