A-Clear amber/brown when pouring, deep ruby in the glass, one finger off white head.
S-Rather smoky, beef jerky, roasted malt, very slight chocolate.
T-Smoke is present, maybe too much, roasted malt and some chocolate, tad bit of vanilla and mild bitterness.
M-Medium bodied and creamy.
O-Both the regular Black Butte and Edmund Fitzgerald are better on their own. This combo-smoked version was a nice idea but nothing special.
