On tap @ Beachwood BBQ (12/23/10) - from notes:
Pours a basic brown with a slightly off-white head and minimal lace. Smell is very faint with toffee, caramel grains and herbal. Taste is roasty malt grain, trace chocolate and some flowery hop. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin and watery, probably due to a fatigued palette from previous IPAs. Overall, listed here as a Scotch Ale/Wee Heavy; however, Gabe indicated that was a previous incarnation as this is more appropriately a Brown Ale. Decent, but nothing special.

On-tap at Triple Rock
A: The pour is a dark amber or light brown color (maybe a mix of the two) with a creamy off-white head.
S: Begins with some citrus hops, likely from the dry-hopping. There's a bit of alcohol to it and a pretty nice toasted malt, toffee, and caramel note. Some minor influence of chocolate and roast.
T: There's a decent hop bitterness to go along with what is a sturdy brown ale base. A mild toasted malt character, along with toffee, and bitter chocolate. There is a bit of a pine flavor from the hops as well.
M: The body is medium and so is the carbonation.
D: An interesting beer that was good to drink and easy to do so as well. Might be worth having a pint of.

On-tap at Beachwood BBQ, on to the beer:
This is a dark brown colored beer with tiny amounts of spotty lacing sticking to the glass. The nose is low on firepower; some pine comes out of it. The taste throws me off because I was expecting a sweet tasting beer and I was dealt a hoppy beer instead. It starts of piney with some citrus thrown in. There is just a wee bit of peat and smoke hiding underneath the barrage of hops. As the beer warms, you can sense more malt and peat. It's clean, has a medium mouthfeel, and it is an easy drinker.
Solid as a rock beer, though not exactly what I was looking for per style. Dragon's Milk tastes much more like an India Dark Ale than a Wee Heavy.

S - lots of hops i was expecting more malt but hops where incharge here
T- hops upfront but a good malt taste on the finish
D- i need to try more from the style to say now drinkable it is it seemed to hoppy to be a scotch ale
