On-tap at Beachwood BBQ,

A: Pours a light amber, medium frothy white head. Has spotty soapy lace.

S: Plenty of caramel malt, grassy hop component, nice but not exciting.

T: Standard crystal malt flavour, not full-flavoured at all for me. Toasted bread/malt, earthy grassy hops in the end.

M: Medium-bodied, drying at times, solid aftertaste, soapy carbonation.

D: A pretty much middle of the road brewpub red. Not sickly sweet which I am glad for, but nothing I'd really go after again. (491 characters)

On-tap at Triple Rock

A: The pour is amber in color with a dense khaki colored head.

S: A solid citrus hop aroma such as grapefruit and orange with a bit of floral notes, too. Plenty of sweet caramel malts, toffee, and some toasted bread character.

T: On the hoppier side of the style but still a good balance of the toffee and caramel malt along with the citrus and slightly piney hops.

M: The body is medium and so is the carbonation.

D: A nice red/amber ale, which seems to usually be a terrible style for brewpubs. Would drink this again. (547 characters)

The brew pours a nice thin head with a good retention on an amber red color body. The smell was kind of weak, with not much strenght to it. The taste is malty, red fruity, slightly chocolaty. This beer as character. The mouthfeel is smooth and tound. The finish is quite hoppy but not excessively dry. A pretty good session beer. (329 characters)

Reddish amber color. Small white foamy head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A Medium bodied Amber. Slightly roasted malts. Fairly aggressively hopped for an amber. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. (259 characters)

A - Served a clear copper-red color with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades fairly quickly leaving behind some good lace.

S - Aroma is a mix of sweet toasted caramel malts with some pine and grassy hops.

T - Starts off with some toasted caramel malts with some pine hops and light bitterness. Through the middle some more hop flavor and bitterness comes through with a bit more sweet malt. The finish is a mix of pine hop and lightly toasted malts.

M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a nice dry finish.

D - Very drinkable. Nice red ale with a good hop and malt balance without much metallic flavor. (641 characters)
