Had on-tap at the brewpub, seems to be a spring release.

Pours an opaque black with some light tan head that lingered in the form of a half-finger cap. Lace was decent.

Nose was of sweetened blueberries, but they retained some tartness which was nice. Roasted grainy malts made up the rest, with a bit of coffee thrown in. A little bit loose for me, but solid.

Taste followed the nose pretty much exactly, with sweet and sour blueberry juice up front and roasted malts following it up to the end. Coffee is lesser here than in the nose, and the blueberries are a bit better too. Watery character hurts this though.

Mouthfeel is a weak area, as the beer needed a fullness and heavy body to make this a real fruity dessert beer. It's fine, but could be a lot better here. Drinkability is quite good for the style, as the fruit is pretty easy to taste but doesn't get unpleasant.
