There were two distinct halves to this establishment. One side is a bar. The other is a restaurant. I ate at the restaurant. The food was good & the menu had a nice selection. The beers were a nice assortment of Left Hand's brews and were quite enjoyable.

Stopped in to meet up with a fellow BA while in Boulder in July, 2004. The Taphouse is located on the main street in downtown Longmont, a few miles from the Lefthand Brewery. Street parking near the Tap House was easily to find. Upon entering, you can choose to be seated at tables in a dimly lit open room or you may proceed to the long wooden bar on the other side of the open room. The bartender was nice and was attentive to our needs. I found the beer selection quite limited, however, especially having just come from the tasting room at the brewery. They had only 5 Lefthand beers on tap in the Tap Room whereas they had 10-12 at the brewery. If you want a meal, then try the Tap Room. If you want to try a sampler of fresh Lefthand beers, then go to the brewery instead. I will definitely return to the brewery, but I will grab a bite to eat somewhere along the way. I have no interest in visiting the taphouse again.
