330 ml stubby bottle, from Voldby Kødmandsgård. ABV is 11.5%. Dark brown colour, large to moderate tan head. Pleasant aroma of brown malts, brown kandij sugar, molasses and caramel, dark dried fruits, a hint of oak. The flavour is sweet and sugary (maybe too much), with the same notes as in the aroma. Minimal hops. Smooth to drink, the alcohol is well hidden.

Poured from a 33 cl bottl into a snifter glass.
Look is a very dark brown with amber highlights and little to no head.
Aroma is dark fruits, raisins, cherries, prunes.
Taste is thin and dry with that fruity yeastiness coming through.

Hazy chestnut with beige finger of foam.
Prunes, brandy butter, and cinnamon nose.
Buttered brown bread, golden raisins, touch of anise, apple butter, and maybe a bit of hop spice.
Ginger and light toffee end and honey cake linger.
Medium, well chewy, creamy.
Super smooth - 7 months has knocked off any sharp edges. Flavors are lighter for the style - more bread and butter pudding than Christmas cake. Not too heavy, not overly sweet - a less deep but very drinkable quad.
