Appearance: Crystal-clear deep amber in color, with a large, dense, off-white head, which retains superbly. Thick unbroken lacing adorns the glass walls. Numerous streams of small bubbles drift lazily to the surface.
Aroma; Very prominent, nearly over-the-top pumpkin pie spice notes dominate the aroma. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves are very prominent, although a mild herbal hop presence and a dark bread aroma labor to assert themselves.
Taste: Opens mildly sweet, with a distinct dark bread note, soon followed by a wave of pumpkin pie spices, these rise to ascendancy toward the end of the taste. Late in the taste, moderate herbal hop notes appear, bringing the taste to a balanced and graceful close. Mild pumpkin spice lingers well beyond the end of the taste.
Mouth feel: Smooth, soft and quite full.
Drinkability/notes: An excellent, perhaps slightly over-the-top example of the style.
