25cl. bottle poured into standard pint glass.
A little research reveals that this beer is from the #1 hop growing region in Belgium. Hommel is the local word for Humulus which is the botanical name for the hop plant.
Cloudy bright golden yellow with subtle traces of orange at the edges. Small dense head with good retention. Smells of honey, citrus, and anise with a subtle farmhouse quality (some hay and wood)
Great balance between sweetness and bitterness. Flavors of honey, chamomile tea and minerals with a little bit of middle eastern spices lurking. Bisuity malt with well intergrated hops and a refreshing drinkability. Earthy dry finish. This beer has a way of disapearing quickly.
