Poured from a green 375. No date, but I believe it's recent as these bottles just made their way into Boston. Cork came out with a pop, no noticeable sediment in the bottle.
Golden color with a hint of copper. Slightly cloudy. No head to speak of, even with a decent pop from the cork.
Aroma is cleanly acidic, slight citrus fruit and pear. Very slight must/hay.
Incredibly balanced gueuze. Wonderful lactic acidity at the start, little to no acetic. More carb than I expected based on the pour. Finish is fruity - cherry, pear, lemon - and gives way to slight must and goaty flavors.
This is a gueuze I've never heard hyped, but I think it's one of the best I've had. Great surprise, need to track down some more of these...
