A-pours a lot like juice, no pop, no carbonation, no head whatsoever. honey colored

S-smells super funky, i'n getting only a little bit of strawberry in here toward the end. its a strong scent that is fairly simple.

T-hits with a very sour and funky taste with some small hints of belgian yeasts. there's only a little bit of strawberry flavor. overall, its just all of low quality. its honestly a little bit gross. i like sours and lambics, but there's something wrong with this one. it tastes almost like i'm being poisoned.

M-watery all the way through, absolutely horrible

D-the more I tasted this one, the grosser it got. this was a drain pour, i would never even use this as marinade for meats...its just awful

Cidery golden in color. Big, watery bubbles collect on the surface, like beads, but it doesn't look like a head. Hardly showing signs of carbonation. Even the cork came out with only the tiniest gasp of air.

Strawberry-banana yogurt, critter funk, white vinegar, unripe berry, and yeast creaminess. Smells fantastic.

Tart strawberry, acetic acid, sharp funk, again with slight banana or creamy fruit, lemon rind, and raw mushroom. Not extreme, but a very sharp sourness.

Back of throat tartness. Jaw clenching with anticipation. Not much carbonation to amp it up and spell it out. The body has a semi-oily feel to it.

This is a fantastic fruit lambic. The notes are numbered, but they're fascinating.

Date: 4/5/14
Location: Bierkraft
Glassware: Tulip
Appearance: Almost clear gold to amber beer that pours with almost no head. Next to no carbonation. Slightly viscous, the beer momentarily grabs the sides before falling back.
Aromatics: Very pungently sour bordering on soy sauce. I pick up the yeast which is souring then a touch of fruit- strawberries.
Flavor: The beer is tastes more appropriate as a lambic then the aroma did. The sour flavors are more balanced with the strawberry. The sourness is still bordering on soy.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is very simple, light, nothing harsh nothing lasting.

Note: Bottled in June 2013

A: Pours a very hazy deep golden yellow bordering on apricot in color with no visible carbonation and just a hint of peach highlights. The beer has only the faintest of off-white rings around about half of the glass and no lacing is observed.

S: The aroma of this beer is quite tart/sour with only the hint of strawberries in the finish as it warms up.

T: Similar to the smell, this beer is almost all sour tartness with just a light amount of strawberries in the finish. The tartness/sourness of this beer really lingers.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with minimal amounts of carbonation. Moderate to heavy amounts of acidic prickliness.

O: This is not an easy drinking beer as it is quite sour and pretty much lacks any carbonation (to speak of). I would only recommend this beer to folks that really enjoy their sours, not for the novice to the style.

S: smells like strawberries with some burnt rubber notes

A: copper with orange hues

T: lemon, tart, some strawberry notes. noticeable cheese and funk notes.

M: medium body with no carbonation

O: got the strawberry notes in the nose, but flavor was lacking. this might have helped with the strong cheese and funk notes.

375ml into a tulip.

A: Pours a mellow orange with a ring of white bubbles. Looks pretty flat.

S: Smell is pleasant sweet strawberry and less pleasant rubbery notes. A bit of wheat and lacto acidity as well.

T: Taste brings puckering lactic acidity, lemon, hint of berry sweetness, light minerality.

M: Light-bodied, flat.

O: The strawberry aroma/flavor here is really nice, but it's a very sour beer that's flat. This kind of bracing acidity needs carbonation to carry it.
