I pick up a 375 ml bottle for $5.75 with no freshness date and consumed it on 7/27/13. Might be a bit overpriced, but I was on a saison kick and couldn't get it anywhere else.
A- It poured a brilliant golden color with just a slight haze. Fluffy white head, active carbonation consisting of large bubbles, and lots of floating sediment.
S- Strong lemon aroma, some pepper and esters. Bready yeast and grains, and a mild tartness all combined in a delicate but stimulating olfactory journey.
T- Right away I got some sweet, mild, and soft grains, but that was quickly overcome by a dry, spicy, lemon, bitter finish. As I drank, the tartness and spicy lemon flavors continued to build.
M- Very effervescent, light bodied, dry, crisp mouthfeel that leaves a delightfully citrusy, funky, dry and bitter aftertaste on my palate.
O- Deliciously refreshing. This is the first time I've had Saison Dupont, and it lived up to the hype. Not a disappointment at all. I'm now convinced that the best setting to drink a farmhouse ale is on the second floor of a barn looking out over a Catskill Mountain horse pasture on a hot day in late July.

Served on tap in a chalice glass
Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed yellow amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave a nice level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is a nice mix of sweet, grain, and sour funk. There are nice sweeter Belgian aromas of a banana and light citrus smell with lots of Belgian pale malt aromas. A yeasty smell is there as well as well as a good showing of funk, taking on a mix of green apple and hay. With these aromas, there is also a light smell of spice and a bit of sour lemon. Overall very inviting.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet fruity flavor with lots of orange and a bit of peach, pear and apricot as well. Along with these sweeter fruits are some flavors of candied sugar and a sweet-and sour green apple taste. Right upfront there is also a light bready flavor which fades slightly as the flavor advances. While the bready fades, other flavors take its place with some yeasty and banana flavors joining the profile. Some spice flavors and a bit of lemon later come to the tongue and more toward the end a decent haylike and grassy flavor join the taste profile as well, creating a nice mix of sweet and sour-funk flavors to linger on the tongue at the end of the taste.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is thin with a carbonation level that is slightly higher. The thinner body and higher carbonation are fantastic for the sweet and funked flavor of the brew, giving an overall very crisp and drinkable feel.
Overall – This is a quite nice saison with a great drinkability and a fantastic fruity sweet-yet nicely soured and funked flavor. Rather refreshing, crisp, and delicious.
