330ml bottle from Utobeer, London (£3.20):
Golden amber with a huge, foamy white head that holds great & leaves some lacing.
Yeast and lots of tart with some lemon and citrus notes too but the yeast seems to dominate. There is some spice and earthy notes plus a little clove. Initially this one was too strong with too much yeast coming through but soon settles.
Tarty with some lemon and citrus coming through as well as the spice from the nose. A definite Belgian yeast taste that is coupled with some lighter fruit flavours such as apple and the like.
Strongly carbonated as a lot of the style seem to be. The beer has a light body and is quite tarty but also refreshing and crisp with a strong citrus tang to proceedings and the alcohol is well hidden.
A really nice beer with a good balance but one that must be given time to settle down first before drinking it.
