Appearance: hazy golden/blond with a soft, one-finger bright white head
Smell: Everything Belgium--floral, yeasty, dirty, earthy
Taste: Sort of spicy, a lot complexity from the yeast, and some bite at the end. You kind of look at this beer, which appears usual, take a sip, and keep sipping because of the unexpected complexity.
M-Feel: Carbonated at the beginning, smooth.
Drinkability: If Barack Obama signs a bill into effect where I'm paid to drink this all day...

Pored from a 375ml bottle into a Riedel Stemmed Tulip whilst watching the Soccer World Cup.
This is an awesome ale.
It poured a cloudy golden colour with a two finger head.
Initially it smelled herbaceous which I guess is a good thing for a farmhouse ale.
The first taste revealed the high yeast and almost 'strong ale' characteristics.
As the beer warmed in the glass it started to open up in complexity. I could detect citrus hints of grapefruit and honey on the mid pallet and some pepper on the back pallet.
The beer had a creamy mouth feel with a dry finish.
I can see why this beer in one of the bench mark saisons. I am glad I had the opportunity to drink it. If you like this style then you need to put it on your must drink list.

This was good. Dry and herbal and somewhat spicy. Straw colored, visible floaters, slightly hazy. White head with persistent lace. Hops were a nice backdrop to some fruitiness and malt. Very clean and crisp. Somewhat of an apple cider crispness in the taste and slight apple in the nose. Pretty drinkable, alcohol pretty well hidden. Smooth mouthfeel. Overall this was good and interesting.
