Best Before end of 06/2015
A:big fluffy head, golden honey
S: direct, fresh citrus rind, unripe peach, pear
T: so delicate and fresh without any off character right through to the end. Like it dances high on the palate. The flavour is not broad or overly complex. Like tasting a young Pinot Noir. Amazing that a beer could be so delicate. Just a touch of bitterness in the finish.
M: very light bodied and fresh. Carbonation is tight and well balanced like champagne.
O: I wish I would have let this beer age longer. It tastes tight and "hard" now and would perhaps broaden with some age. Still, a wonderfully delicate beer. It went perfect with our fusili with fresh uncooked tomato, basil, garlic sauce & pine nuts.

The color is a golden orange color with a slight haze and a big fluffy head.

The aroma has some lemon, hay, and grass.

The flavor is great. Super refreshing citrus and grassiness then a biscuit maltiness wonderful dry finish of lemon peel and funky. It lingers strongly with the bitterness. It’s almost like an IPA hoppiness. Reminds me a lot of Lil Sumpin Sumpin with a round citrus and then that strong bitterness.

The beer is just wonderful. I can only compare it to Sofie and Hennepin. I would compare it more to Hennepin, but this wins. The dry wonderful finish is lovely. I would enjoy having this on a hot day or with something spicy or seafood.

11.2oz bottle.

Big fluffy white head of three fingers' height perched atop a sudsy hazed straw-blonde beer. There are micro-floaties that stay near the bottom of the glass.

Peppery lemon citrus and almost-funky Belgian yeast. Hints of pear, almond, and white sage. Herbal aromas are quite appealing. Bright, but only as bright as the yeast allows.

In the taste, the floral notes are more amplified. Assorted citrus, pink peppercorn, white grape dryness, chalky yeast, nuttiness, herbal spice, Bosc pear, and mild soapiness. Great balance between quiet fruit zestiness and yeasty and malt dryness.

Nice feel, overall. Dry carbonic element with a spiciness. Body holds up at medium. Enjoying sipping it.

An incredible saison. One of the best.

Hazy orange blonde colour, 2 fingers of white head, decent lace all the way down the glass. Nose is yeasty with just a hint of funk, lots of fruit, lemon, green apple with a bit of spice, light corriander, bit of nectarine as well. Yeasty, lots of lemony flavours, with a bit of hop, tart green apple skins, floral adn fruity, earthy and spicy in the finish, drying mid palate. Medium dry carbonation, medium body. Really good, certainly something that can be easily consumed in large quantities.
