A - Inky black with brown tint. A thin, fast fading brown head. Sporadic, occasional lacing as the beer is drunk.
S - A mild rauchbier, with coffee and roastiness on the nose.
T - Sweet on the tip of the tounge, smokiness in the middle, followed by bitterness in the end with slight touch of alcohol. A touch of mushrooms and earthiness in the after. Smoke, roast, caramel, vanilla, and coffee prevail. Hops are subtle to the point of being undetectable due to the overpowering of the smokiness.
M - Medium-light body with decent mouth feel. Fair coating of the tounge as it's swallowed. Slightly astringency from liberal use of patent malts. Light, loose carbonation.
O - Decent beer with an odd use of smoked malts. Patent malts add a good bit of over the top astringency and acridity but is made up in the beers smoothness. Good beer with a nice robust cigar perhaps.
