Nice clear orange hue with amber highlights and 2 fingers of still white head. Very subtle nose, perfumey with a little bit of caramel.

Nice but simple. On the lighter side of being medium bodied with prickly carbonation. Some sweet caramel honey flavors balanced by an herbal floral hop. But all the flavors are very subtle and light. Easy drinking, would definitely be a better beer if it was priced along the lines of full sail session stuff but for an $11 dollar six pack i was really expecting a lot more than an approachable amber ale.

This isn't a bad beer, but it's not a good one.

A-Red? More like dark brown. Was not expecting the body to be so damn dark. Dark khaki head really hangs around. Head is frothy and reliable. Good lacing too. ONly moderate light penetration. I am interested.

S-This really comes off as more of a Brown Ale. It even has some Porter elements to it. Roasted coffee and cocoa powder. Toasted dark bread and some respectable citrusy hops. A dark Red Ale. Impressed and surprised by both the nose and the look.

T-Maybe there is a touch of smokiness here, maybe I am completely wrong. Chocolate milk powder, toasted bread and burnt caramel. It all goes together quite well. Coffee and other underlying sweetness. Light grapefruit hoppiness on the rear end.

M-Feels fuller than the ABV it holds. Bubbles are pleasant and noticeable. A bit dry, with subdued bitterness. Drinkable.

O/D-Here I was expecting to like their IPA better. Nope, this was much more unique and just better. A cool take on a very broad style. One of the best brews I had during the weekend.
