Poured into a shaker pint glass.

Look: A hazy, murky burnt orange body holds up a foamy cream colored head. Good head retention and lacing.

Aroma: A nice blend of citrus and pine.

Taste: Really sharp pine, a malty backbone, with a bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, sticky.

Overall: Tasty and straight to the point.

On tap at Stella in Denver. Bright yellow color, maybe almost orange. aroma was this weird fruity strangeness, not very appealing and I didn't really get it. Flavor was sort of weird, malty, I guess it had some hops but this was really below average when it comes to an IPA or pale ale especially considering the beers we have access to. I can;t see anyone picking this over Odell IPA.

A: hazy; pale amber in color; with a fairly aggressive pour, got a thin film that was gone in 30 seconds; moderate lacing;

S: subtle, but what was there was mostly floral hops;

T: a little earthy up front; alcohol is noticeable; floral, then a little tart in mid-palate; a little metallic with minimal bitterness on finish;

M: medium bodied; light carbonation; a little syrupy;

O: This is a style I enjoy, but I can't see myself seeking this one out again;

Got a 4 pack at a local bottle shop for $2.99. The beer is okay at best but when you look at the price point it's great! Would I pay $9.99 for a 4 pack? Maybe. But at $2.99, you can't beat it! This isn't the best or worst IPA I've ever had but again, at the price it's at, I can't complain. Definitely a pretty solid session IPA even though it's rated ad an IEPA. For my taste & standards, I consider this a higher ABV, IPA. Nothing more, nothing less.

A - Cloudy, golden, yellow in color; Fizzy white head that hangs around before drinking

S - Didn't get much here other than lemony hops

T - A sweet, fresh, yet bitter taste; not very complex, a little malt taste beneath the hops

M - Sweet malty feel up front, bitterness on the back end

O - Not a bad beer, but with so many Extra Pale Ale choices out there, not sure I would revisit this one. But it's not a bad beer.
