This place is just a stone's throw from the popular Clifton Hill district, so parking was expected to be scarce, but turned out to be non-existant. One of the hotel managers across the street was nice enough to let us park in his lot so we could have dinner and buy beer without paying to park somewhere or walk from the old casino.

This is more of a wine and liquor store, with a very meager beer selection. They don't even sell the quintessential Cuban cigars found in every souvenier and head shop in the downtown area; or a pack of Players for that matter. On the other hand, the store is very clean, well-lit, intelligently organized, and the staff are very courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, they don't know much about what they sell, or that there is a whole world of beer outside of
the mabye twenty or thirty choices they offer. I saw Boddington's and Guiness but other than that pretty much just bargain beer, Malt liquors/Ice beer, common American imports and Canadian macros. But I am sure the beer is at least fresh, since the lack of places to buy beer forces the consumer to keep stock in high rotation.

The prices seemed fair being a tourist area and the only downtown store I found that you can buy any alcohol other than beer. They did have a "singles barrel" but it did not contain anything I was interested in revisiting or reviewing. As for BA's; you better head down the road to The Beer Store or travel outside the Falls area is you want a real choice because the tiny dry shelves and few cooler doors hidden in the back of the store are very dissapointing.

Wrote a review since the others were old. Place is mostly wine and macro, but there were a few aisles of local beers that included milkshake IPA's and beers from Omnipollo. Prices were good and the location was ideal. Definitely worth a stop.

So walking by this place and there is a big banner that says "Discover the World of Beer". Well that must mean they have a ton of stuff in here. Well, it is a liquor store, tons of wine and booze, but in the back corner there is a sign that says "BEER". So let's go check it out. Well, there were some stuff back there, a Mikkeller, all the standard U.K. stuff, all the stuff I pretty much have seen all over town,, and have tried. Some more interesting stuff from Molsen Canada, but nothing too over the top. Prices seemed fair to me, and the people that worked there were friendly, but they definitely knew more about wine. All in all, it was cool, picked up a couple randoms, but nothing fantastic.

My friends and I popped in here for a beer run before spending the weekend in Niagara On The Lake.

Some warm cases of mainstream beer (Molson, Sleeman, Heineken) were mixed in with the wine and spirits while the micros were at the back of the store.

The selection was very underwhelming as the only notable beers were Great Lakes Devil’s Pale Ale, Muskoka Cream Ale, Elora Extra Special Bitter, and Niagara’s Best Blonde Ale and Lager. That was it. No US crafters available on our visit and there were many more half-cases and six packs than single bottles and cans.

Service was average - the cashier smiled at us and rung our stuff through with relative speed.

Overall we were pretty disappointed with this place since we only managed to grab the micros I mentioned above. This store has been listed on BA and RB because of it’s proximity to the border, but Americans who are interested in Canadian brews will fare much better at Taps Brewing Company and the recently renovated Syndicate. You can buy growlers and six packs of quality, local craft beer and quirky one-offs at both brewpubs. In hindsight I should have gone to the breweries at the start of my trip rather than the end, as the Ferry & Stanley LCBO is severely lacking in the beer department.

Right in the meat of touristy Niagara Falls, the staff knows nothing about beer ... they are drone bees working for their queen.

Lots of Euro lagers here, a handful of good ones. Spied some Fuller's ... some Fuller's Vintage Ale as well. While the beers of their selection may be samey in style at least there is a selection and will come to the aid of beer drinkers wanting something other than Coors Light which seems to have taken over the area. Oddly no beers from Niagara Falls Brewing that I could see unless they were not in plain sight.

Perhaps a last resort place ... or the only place, I have yet to check out The Beer Store.

This LCBO store is the one with the largest selection in Niagara Falls. However, I think the selection doesn't have enough craft Beers or enough high quality Beers in general... not one trappist!!

I have had bad experiences with this store mishandling Beer, with the end result being me pouring a spoiled Beer down the drain.

I have to say that the service or lack thereof is below standard, this seems to be a trend at a lot of LCBO's in the area. The staff are an unhappy buch of unknowledgable people.

I usually stock up on Beer when I make a trip to Toronto, to the Queen's Quay location. (Tip: if you don't want to sound like a tourist make sure you pronounce Quay as "Key"). But I do go to the Ferry street location when I want to pick up just a couple of bottles.

I went to Niagara Falls one day when I got off early from work while I was in Toronto. This store is not far from the main tourist strip which contains hounted houses and wax museums. If you are in on the main strip the store is only about a half mile (800 meters). The selection of beer was ok, what Iiked was that they offered singles. Most of the singles they offer are not the top end beers but it was new stuff to try. So far of the beers that I have tried none have gone bad. This was the best place for singles I found around Toronto area besides a brewery/store.
