Proudly named after the P-47 bombers once manufactured right here in Evansville, this Amber Ale has been on tap here for over two decades. Generous portions of Caramel and Chocolate malt color and flavor this timeless Amber Ale, while German noble hops and American yeast finish off this special recipe, on tap all year.

Draft pour at the newburgh location. Nice dark amber color with lasting sticky head. Not a big aroma, but pleasant. The taste is subtle toasted and chocolate malt. Medium feel and carbonation. Overall, very good.

I had this on tap at the Turoni's on Main Street.
A: It poured a dark, dark red color with maybe a tinge of translucence, but nothing to write home about. Darker in the middle than around the edges, and the head was almost non-existent.
S: not much... maybe a puff of yeast and a bit of birthday cake icing.
T: The taste was sort of blah, but still enjoyable nonetheless. I did get some candy sugar, and this was much more towards the malt side than the hoppy one. Sweet, but not too.
M: low carbonation, with a gooey candy sugar-esque consistency, and no lacing whatsoever.
O: It was what it was and nothing more: a solid red that appeals to the masses.

A-Reddish copper color. Nice white head. Very clear, and a nice lacing is left throughout.
S- Sweet malts, earthy hops.
T- Very smooth and earthy hop flavor. A flavor similar to nuts maybe. A nice sweet caramel backbone.
M- It's a little syrupy to me. But not terribly bad.
O- It's decent. A better offering from them

Has a clear pour with a reddish-orange color.
Almost no smell. Might have been some malty notes hiding somewhere (given the taste), but nothing stuck out.
The flavor is all malt, giving off plenty of sweetness. It's not obscene, but very sweet.
Almost creamy mouthfeel with a slight hop note.
Very easy to drink.
