Made with Sweet Baby and Yellow watermelons, Thai basil. Fermented with Delaware native ale yeast and finished with a saison strain.

Poured on tap at Dogfish Head brewpub in Rehoboth.
Not much of a looker. Dull lemon yellow and opaque body. Thin capped off white head which disappears completely without even a collar.
Nose is huge white pepper. Just ripping with some great green herbal sensing warmth. Not much else to mention but real impressive.
Palate just hits with juicy watermellon. Probably the best tasting watermellon beer I have had to date. Pepper comes to match and its a great combination. Hints of butternut like squash and mellow sweetness and good herbal minty finish. Crisp palate slightly carbonated high but not too much and slight wetness but comes out sensing sessionable for a big 6.9%.
A real impressive drinker. Great matching herbs added that make it sing.
