First had: on tap at DFH, Rehoboth Beach, DE
A braggot made with plumbs (aka beach plums) and local wildflower honey.
Murky pour, purplish-honey color, with a small, off-white head that sank to a ringlet, minimal lacing. Sweet plummy aroma, slight medicinal twinge, toasted grains. I was hoping for a little more from this one, but I still kinda just got that "house" DFH taste; otherwise, some sweet fruitiness from the plumbs, and a little honey, toasted grains, herbal hop notes. No tartness or anything, just a pretty basic fruit beer. Medium body, somewhat slick mouthfeel, decent overall, but a sampler was enough for me.
