First had: on tap at DFH, Rehoboth Beach, DE

Pale straw-colored beer with a thin cap of white bubbles that receded to a ringlet. Dry aroma of toasted grains and herbal hops/spices. I'm not really familiar with wild carrot (aka Queen Anne's Lace), nor their seeds, nor the taste thereof, but there was a definite herbal and vegetal taste to this beer, which was presumably from that very spotlighted plant, overlaid on a basic malt bill, with an end result that vaguely resembled a spiced English pale ale, with a yeastiness comparable to Chateau Jiahu or Midas Touch or [insert random DFH spiced ale]. Light-medium body, fairly light mouthfeel, with a somewhat bitter aftertaste. A unique idea perhaps, but not really a unique beer, ultimately. (745 characters)
