On tap at the Falls Church Dogfish Alehouse. Served in a pint glass. Bright amber in color with a thin white head concentrated at edges of the glass.

I get a lot of bright citrus to it right off the bat. Mango and grapefruit come through with some nice malty sweetness complimenting them. Very nice aroma overall.

In the taste, the sweeter malty flavors mix very well with the brighter, citrusy flavors. It gives it a nice, strong backbone for the beer and also the sweetness really compliments the fruity, citrusy, tropical flavors nicely.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall it was an excellent beer. It was a great balance between the 60 and 90 and is my favorite out of them. Great middle ground between the two beers and it fits my tastes better than each of them individually. A very nice beer to start out the meal with.

I enjoyed this beer . It's my first time trying it. Nice blend of 60 min & 90 min .IPA. ! Pours an orange-gold hue
Taste is nice-W/ malty sweetness & . Aroma is of yeast, bread, crackers, some citrus , pineapple . I'm picking up on the maple , on the front and middle, If I was not told so , not sure I would know this is made W/ the maple very little maple taste. I enjoyed this and would say to pick it up if you see it . Nice Beer !

Cheers...

Appearance - a golden apricot pour, lots of bubbly tendrils shooting up from below. Light cream-colored head, pocky and sturdy.

Aroma - a whiff of citrus and pine, some vague nuttiness that is probably the maple syrup. Light but not the most aromatic.

Taste - the taste is similar, though the malt base is more stated and lays out a nice canvas for the other flavors to work from. The hops have a good citrus and bitter balance, and the aftertaste is showing some dryness and perhaps nutty tones, but I don't think I would know there's maple in here if it wasn't stated on the label. This has a flavor that suggests a Belgian yeast strain, could just be the age of the bottle and waning of certain elements.

Mouthfeel - fluffy and well-carbonated, solid weight.

Overall - good beer, I'd have it again, especially if I saw it on tap.

Very nice IPA for the winter. The cascade hops and the maple syrup make a really nice combination. Might smell and taste like any other IPA but all the features are there. Did not get any yeast from the first pour but some did get disturbed for the second glass. Very good winter IPA. Cheers!

Great to finally try this beer.Poured into a tulip glass a burnt orange tinged golden with a huge blooming head that ran over the glass even with gentle pour,I was not a huge fan of that.Great fresh citrus aromas along with ahint of nuttiness, not much in the maple category but the aromas are great. The label is right the mouthfeel is pretty smooth as it glides down pretty easily.Piney and citric on the palate with the malt backbone lacking a bit,it's pretty dry with the maple coming thru in the finish and aftertaste. The alcohol is well hidden the hops are generous but the malt backbone needs to be amped up a tad...in my opinion.

75 Minute IPA by Dogfish Head Brewery, American Imperial Pale Ale, 7.5% alcohol content. 750ml bomber with a very unique man somewhat tapping a keg.

A- Pours a dark orange fluid that produces a one inch creamy off white head that leaves thick pillows of lacing on the glass.

S- Rich caramel and brown sugar and sharp grassy hops bite the nose.

T-M- Taste is composed of a 90 min and 60 min mix of malty caramel, earth and mild brown sugar. In the backbone it pushes more of a fresh cut grass and citrus bite followed by a smooth mouthfeel sticking to the tongue with astreingency.

O- Drinkable as hell if you can afford it.

A - Pours a slightly hazy burnt orange with three fingers of dense off-white head. Head has great retention and coats the glass with lacing. A small stream of slow rising carbonation.

S - Aroma actually seems a bit subdued, but consists of citrus, florals, a bit of grassiness and biscuit malt.

T - Nice punch of hop bitterness, combined with a subtle sweetness (residual maple syrup?) is quickly overtaken by a big biscuit malt taste. Finishes with a subtle citrus bitterness.

M - Mouthfeel is on the full side for an IPA, but is quite smooth.

O - I used to really like Dogfish Head IPAs, but have essentially stopped buying them in the last few years due mostly to the high malt presence. Having said that, I enjoyed this quite a bit and found myself drinking it pretty quickly. The dry-hopping is quite nice with this one. This is still too malty to be a go-to IPA for me, but I would have it again.
