A previous cask-only offering now available via 750ml bottles. Happy to revisit this one since it has been quite awhile. Poured into a matching shaped DFH pint glass, the brew appears a hazed color of golden copper. More than 4 fingers worth of frothy white head rises above the brew and maintains with a finger of pillow-like uneven surface. Patches of lace stick all over the glass.
The aroma of this brew includes some pleasant hoppy quality that includes some hints of citrus, fruit and floral qualities. More specifically it smells of grapefruit with a touch of pine that gets a bit of herbal touch towards veggy quality on the backend. There is some mineral inclusion and a touch of sulfur keeping this from smelling clean. A bit of alcohol is noted accenting the fruity aspect of this. Overall, the good parts of the nose are great and the bad parts are well... there.
The taste is almost menthol-like with a cooling minty quality about it. Herbal hops are present with seemingly more flavor than bitterness. Some pulp and zesty quality gives way to a fruity alcohol inclusion. Some toasty grain backing is present and just like the aroma led on, there is some veggy aspects to this mixed with minerals, sulfur and cheese.
This is a medium to light bodied brew with a visually overboard amount of carbonation. However, as it settles in the glass, it becomes light and enjoyable. This brew was fairly drinkable and went down easy but I would have enjoyed this so much more without the minerals, veggy and sulfur quality that was present throughout.

Pours a cloudy brownish straw color with two fingers of head that enjoyed a lengthy period of retention and left intricate lace behind. The nose is slightly citrusy. The flavor profile is also citrusy with some hops and a slight trace of maple sweetness on the finish.
I really like DFH 60 and I love DFH 90 – I guess that you can’t simply meet in between.
