Most malt liquor has a cloying sweetness that is struggling with an overpowering corn liquor taste that results in something that smells akin to low-grade ethanol. This brew is still sweet but decidedly different.
Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Smell is sweet corn...didn't bode well. The taste is sugary without being too sweet and the corn flavors compliment the mild malt aspect. This seemed to work. The mouthfeel was slick and pleasant and overall this brew was quite drinkable. I'll buy a couple again the next time they are available.
