A - Dark amber body with a creamy medium head.
S - Smelled sweet and hoppy with some fruity/citrus notes.
T - Very hoppy with a smooth oak/spiced balsam character. Fruit sweetness and hop bitterness come together with the warmth of the alcohol ontop.
M - Very silky smooth body. This beer goes down easy, its soft and delicious and mildly carbonated.
D - Was pretty easy to drink one, although its pretty potent in its flavor and the warm alcohol does come through some.
Notes - Oak-Aged Impreial Double India Pale Ale. Every word of that caught my attention and Im glad I picked this one up at Jacks's Wine Sense in Ewing, NJ. This beer ranks up there with the best of them, DogfishHead makes good beer, this one is great beer.
