Poured from a bottle into a Snifter glass.
Look - soft caramel color, a little murky, with about two fingers worth of light tan-colored foam that dissipates somewhat slowly.
Smell - very hoppy smelling, which seem to maybe be Cascade hops. Besides that, maybe a hint of a coffee-like smell, but if so it's a lighter roast.
Taste and Mouthfeel - very intriguing taste! A little sweet at the front end, mostly tingle from alcohol in the middle and a slight bite of bitterness in the finish from the hops. Maybe a slight caramel taste too that helps soften it up a bit. Texture is very well-balanced, but a little more toward the creamy side.
Overall - a very interesting brew, and quite good-tasting.
