A - poured into a tulip glass a rosy copper color with a thin head. Medium bubbles and little lacing on the glass.
S - slightly spicy with floral and citrus notes.
T - sweet to start, finishing malty then back to sweet with an aftertaste reminiscent of barleywine. Pretty well balanced but a bit sweet and in my opinion could be more bitter.
M - smooth and pleasing; lightly carbonated
O - good beer by a great brewery but not overly exciting. I would definitely recommend to friends with a taste for barleywine. I think the hoppiness of an IPA gets lost a little though.
